Faribault, MN - With the combination of Senior Night, Black Out Night, and the final home game of the season, Tuesday night's volleyball games against the Charter Stars were bound to be eventful - and that they were.
After losing the first set, JV came back to win their second set over the Stars 25-21. The third set remained close, but it was the Stars who would get the match point and win 2-1. Varsity took the court shortly after and quickly shut out the Stars in three straight sets (25-11, 25-5, 25-10). With their win, the Sabres finished the regular season undefeated and clinched the #1 seed in the Twin Cities Athletic Conference (TCAC), which begins on Friday at Hmong Academy in St. Paul, Minnesota. The Sabres' first game in the tournament will be at 5:15 PM on Friday against #8 Ag & Farm Science Academy.
