FARIBAULT, MN – The Shattuck-St. Mary’s Girls U19 soccer team capped off an undefeated winter term on Sunday as they topped Minneapolis United 3-2 on their home turf.
The Sabres notched their first goal as Hannah Reznik ’17 set up her sister Halie Reznik ’18 for a good goal in the first half. Before the half ended, the Sabres added another goal as prospect Madison Tuma scored on a rebound from a shot by Hannah Melchiorre ’17. Alaysia Lane ’17 sealed the victory for SSM late in the second half as she scored the game-winning goal.
SSM will return to the turf on Sunday, March 12 to take on Minneapolis United 99.
