FARIBAULT, MN – Midget AAA goalie Thomas Lalonde ’18 has been named a NAPHL Apex Learning Peak Performer for the month of October. The following statement was released by the NAPHL in their announcement.
18U Apex Peak Performer (Goaltender) – Thomas Lalonde, Shattuck St. Mary’s
Shattuck-St. Mary’s 18U goalie Thomas Lalonde, 16, improved his season record to 4-0-0 in the NAPHL with two more wins during the second event of the season in Blaine. The 5’8/145 lbs. native of Montreal, PQ, was perfect in his two games played as he posted two shutouts with wins over Wenatchee and Thunder Bay. Shattuck-St. Mary’s finished the event with a 3-1-0 record. Lalonde made 13 saves in a 4-0 win over Wenatchee and then made 30 saves in a 1-0 shootout win over Thunder Bay, which including stopping all three shooters in the shootout. He leads the NAPHL 18U Division with a 0.74 goals against average and a 96.4% save percentage.
